National Mall to get recycling program
About time! The Mall gets some 25 million visitors per year, who generate 3-4 tons of trash per day. Recycling there would be significant. The Post now has a longer story online about this.

I agree too. The Mall has tried to reduce waste in the past by not giving out straws, napkins, etc. We just started a DC recycling blog: dcrecycler.blogspot.com.
